Ideally I'd like to see Bob Booker given the job, quite apart from anything else from the loyalty point of view. My one fear is that he might suffer from a Jeff Wood or Martin Hinshelwood situation (too close to the players and no contacts so having to play the youth team). It would be very sad to lose Bob, who despite having no previous connections, is now BHA through and through. If the going got tough and some weren't pulling their weight, would Bob be willing to give players a blasting as clearly Adams and Coppell must have done? What is certain is it is no good playing the long ball game with a 5'4" striker leading the line.

Problem with Bob Booker is his lack of contacts compared to Coppell - we are skint & need a tactical manager who has contacts to play a canny game in the loan signings market.

Dare I suggest Glenn Hoddle?
