Always a solid reliable defender, I was surprised to see he is only 31 . It seems an age since he went to Bournemouth. We should have kept him
It's been done to death why we didn't keep him, what with Dunk and Elphick being ahead of him. Anyway, the good thing is he's done well for himself since leaving, and so have we. It all worked out for the best. :thumbsup:

He didn’t get on my nerves last night like he used to when he played for Bournemouth. Probably because he didn’t have Eddie Howe encouraging him to act like a twat this time.

Elphick went at the same time as him. Both were bench warmers and dropped down a league to get game time. Greer was our defender and captain at the time with Dunk.
