Would that advice include not standing up in the middle of a Hove restaurant and throwing a tantrum for someone taking a photo of their 70 year old mum on her birthday?Young Again - 5. Steve Coogan - BBC Sounds

Actually, yes. He talks about his younger days, and what he’d do differently.Would that advice include not standing up in the middle of a Hove restaurant and throwing a tantrum for someone taking a photo of their 70 year old mum on her birthday?
A great listen. I empathize with his pomposity (wanting to do work that's important), the class chip on shoulder (although I lost mine by living overseas when quite young) and share a lot of his background. The loathing of bullies.... yes I am enjoying this.Lovely recommendation, thanks. I’ve always been a big admirer of his work, and share quite a few things with him — I mean his background and sensibilities. Not, alas, his talent.
Were you bullied Harry as a child ?A great listen. I empathize with his pomposity (wanting to do work that's important), the class chip on shoulder (although I lost mine by living overseas when quite young) and share a lot of his background. The loathing of bullies.... yes I am enjoying this.
Kirsty, however, is pure filth. That vocal tone. That laugh. OMG.
On the other hand, he does do a good Michael Caine impression. One of the handful of people I absolutely cannot stand. I just don’t get it with him at all and really don’t get why people rave about his characters and talent. Ah well, each to their own.
No. But I saw kids being bullied and it sickened me.Were you bullied Harry as a child ?
It would appear, Not everyone knows that.On the other hand, he does do a good Michael Caine impression.
Saw this a couple of weeks ago. I'm a Coogan fan but I thought that it was clever, but a bit pleased with itself.
Too many accounts of him being an unsavoury arrogant prick in 'real life' unfortunately. That said, Cooghan's Run was worth a butcher's, Partridge less so imhoHe’s a rare talent to be sure - takes the piss out of himself very well too
Whooooo.. whooooo… whoooooo do you think you are?Too many accounts of him being an unsavoury arrogant prick in 'real life' unfortunately. That said, Cooghan's Run was worth a butcher's, Partridge less so imho
Hands off the great man Partridge. For me at least, one of the greatest comic characters ever invented.Too many accounts of him being an unsavoury arrogant prick in 'real life' unfortunately. That said, Cooghan's Run was worth a butcher's, Partridge less so imho
