Extremely short sighted of Hull if they won't splash the dosh with all the Sky Money coming in this this season.
Let them stay down and promote a team that would take the promotion seriously.

Funny you should say that as when I was listening to his interview the other day I felt that if it were the manager of my club then I would be disappointed. I know it's a big move for any manager but it felt like he would be loathed to stay if he didn't get it.
But also the lack of investment in playing staff will not have helped him wanting to stay

Lets hope that C H does not fancy Hull City ....always the fear when you have a good manager. Actually, I cannot really think that any credible manager ,already in work, would leave to go to Hell City ... Better look at the unemployed..
a manager will always take a job, no matter how ridiculous the owners are, just look at leeds n gary monk, he needed a job and took leeds even though he had previously bashed the leeds regime
Not true.............I know at least 3 jobs that CH turned down because of the financial predicament the club were in at that time
theres always exceptions but by a rule most managers wont turn down making a living just because the owner is a dick, its a already made excuse for them, every leeds, blackpool etc manager of recent time can go ''ofc i wasnt successful, the owner is a nutter'' but they still make very good money for their troubles
YES but the topic being discussed and what your post was responding to was CH and a potential position with Hull City
The fav to replace him is his No2 or even him to remain No2 under Ryan Giggs according to some of the bookies.
You would assume that if Giggs did take over he'd want someone who he was used to working with and who knows the club, so Mike Phelan to continue in his current role there would make a lot of sense. Beyond them it's the common bunch of names ie McLaren, Martinez and Warnock.
Hopefully Dancin' Pardew can work his magic. So that's Hull straight back down along with Burnley. Bournemouth or Swansea for the last remaking slot?
