This just goes to show your here to wind us up. You must feel really really good inside coming on here with your clever words. Why don't you just p*ss off you c*ck

It looked like statement of fact to me. If Murray tore up the Championship with Palace, it's wholly reasonable that Gayle would flourish in a better team than Posh.

No, it's called trolling. Trolling with clever wording maybe but trolling all the same.

Why don't you all bugger off to BBS and chat amongst yourselves there. Could not careless what a palace fan thinks.

I don't understand why they are not on the Man U, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool sites discussing and ripping the piss out of them, because they have signed Gayle. I am sure those fans would rather talk to them about him, a player that is likely to terrorise their defences next season,

Because you're our rivals. Man United are wankers, but give me a choice between beating you and beating them, I'd take you every time.

Better still, lets bring this whole pointless thread to an end. How on earth has it received 543 replies?, 544 with this one.

No.

This thread is useful, as it consolidates all the Palace in one place, where they are easily avoided if you don't want to read what they have to say. If they stick to this thread, we are happy to tolerate them (and other blatant Palace threads). If VHA and his chums are over-bearing on non Palce threads they'll get infractions.

Ooooooooooooh....! An 'infraction'....a terrifying thought.

You moderators are soooooooooooo scary sometimes.....not always scary of course. Most of the time regarding Palace trolls, you are the 'gutless wonders'.

It is a measure of the esteem in which we hold Mr Dobbie.

Not at all. Want to know why Posh always have strikers that score hat-loads of goals? Have you never seen the way they play? Any striker will score goals in a team that goes gung-ho all out attack. Playing for a more balanced team means they may well struggle to reach that level again..

Hardly, he got us promoted.

He was part of the team that couldn't buy a goal for weeks and just about managed to stay in the top 6, despite being strong candidates for top 2 when he joined. He also played no part in the playoffs and has been dropped from the squad after only 3 games this year.

He was the part of the team that managed to end that run of not scoring by scoring and providing almost all of their goals that did keep them in the play offs. He also has that lucky charm effect of having been involved with several play off winning teams. If I were palace, I would consider dobbie to have been good business.

Because they are in the premier league now, not trying to stay in the championship play offs?

I'm not saying he is a great player, but would we be embarrassed about signing a player for 850k (a fee agreed when we initially loaned him to them) if that player scored and provided the goals that played a major part in getting us promoted to a 120m pay day never to be used again? I sure wouldn't. I'd say it was worth it.

You're right, good investment. Poor blokes football career is gonna be failing though, maybe for some players pushing for promotion really doesent pay off at all. Mind you it must be fun getting paid to do feck all

By the way, I meant 25 before him not 5
