Sussex & East Kent railway managed by an Albion fan, Kent Seagull. It runs between Tenterden and Bodiam.

Is it really? I watched one of their trains a couple of weeks ago when I was waiting at the level crossing at Bodiam. There's something magnificently evocative about the sound of a steam train, I think :)

A little further out you also have the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch light railway

Good call, Yoda. Lot of wartime history of this railway is featured as well. Dymchurch itself is fun for youngsters although why my late Dad moved there I can't imagine ! The Marsh is great this time of year but I found it bleak and depressing in Winter. Was always glad to reach East Guldeford in Sussex on my way home - civilisation ! That said, it's a great little railway and is something that's just a bit different for a steam-mad seven-year-old. Enjoy ! :)
