Suppose - it just seems fair - like i said on another post if anything does happen to derby - which i doubt- they will take the points away next season.

You're quite right about that I'm sure but it seems that several teams in this league are living well above their means and getting away with it. I suppose we are to a degree but not on the scale of say Derby or Leicester.

Living above our meagre means, that's the impression I get anyway. Our means are meagre though.

agreed - if anything should go to the team that finishes 3rd in league 1

Nice idea, but it will completely F*** the play-offs to change the rules now. Could only really happen with agreement of all football league teams, and that wouldn't be a quick decision.

But we cannot be put in the same bracket as Derby or Leicester?

True enough but you have ask how they get away with it.

If Derby have been cheating, then its the clubs in the CHAMPIONSHIP that they have cheated this season. Therefore, they should take the place of the team finishing 22nd in the Championship.

Now its up to us to make sure we at LEAST finish 22nd

However, in the wake of their promotion, Boston's manager, Steve Evans, and former chairman, Pat Malkinson, were charged with breaking the Football Association's rules over the registration of players. Both men received bans from the FA, and the club were fined and docked four points from their first season in the League. This angered some, especially at Conference runners-up Dagenham & Redbridge, who believed that any points deduction should have applied to the previous season, which would have meant Dagenham being promoted instead. Despite the penalty, Boston survived their first season in the Third Division, finishing in 15th place.
