What’s it called? Cumbernauld
Sanchez
Veltman - Roberts - Burn - Cucurella
Lamptey - Mac A - Bissouma - Moder - March
Maupay

Subs: Steele, Gross, Connolly. Mwepu, Turns, Richards, Leonard.

Not happy about the two left-sided players at CB, but it would be a huge ask for Turns to make the step up - could put Moder there (no disrespect to Roberts) with Mwepu taking Moder's midfield place.
If Veltman out, would have to ask the versatile Moder to play RB, again with Mwepu (who 'd much rather rest for a few matches) taking his place in midfield. Defo bare bones all round though.

Personally I think moder would make an excellent cb

I doubt we’ll see him for a fair while. Those innocuous knee injuries are notorious for being 2-3+ month absences.

Not strictly true. You might want to stabilise the knee for a period of time to give it a better chance of healing and therefore 48 hours in one of those at the outset can be invaluable.

However best case would be a medial ligament strain which is roughly 6 - 10 weeks minimum but as we saw with Burn he became available much sooner.

If Dunk’s injury is indeed an ACL as I’ve read in a few places then he’s probably done for the season.

I thought Potter was talking more in terms of medial ligament and cartilage on Radio Sussex? He did say he was concerned though, and that alone would probably be 2-3 months.

ACL would be disastrous.

I’d be inclined to recall Ostigard.

When is Bissouma’s hearing?

Hasn’t been charged as yet, bailed pending further enquiries.

Mod edit: please don’t make references to any other examples, past or present, by way of attempting to illustrate precedent. Thanks

This is exactly what he said. “We’re still assessing the [knee injury], it’s his lateral meniscus , we’re still assessing the overall extent of it, but not overly positive”

I’m not sure your second (quite selective) sentence is either necessary or helpful in replying to the question. Like it or not some people think you are “in the know” Lenny.

I would not be at all surprised if he plays there next week against Spurs. I don't think Potter will risk Roberts against Kane and Son, and a 2 of Burn and Veltman (assuming he is fit) is a little bit scary.
Therefore Moder playing in the centre with Burn and Veltman either side is a definite possibility.

I guess Potter and Bruno have a week to plan and prepare for it

Moder at CB isn't the worst idea. Potter may have something even more left field up his sleeve.

If it was as serious as that, then surely he’d have not even walked off the pitch at West Ham, never mind play the full 90+ minutes with no apparent hinderence?

Apologies Tim, it was merely supposition on my part given previous experiences with people in a similar situation.
