Trouble is there been some really bad series on both sides, And some good ones.
Picard season 1 was bad and then season 2 was even worse. Third season huge improvement.

Ahsoka was brilliant and The Mandalorian was pretty good. Some of the films for star wars have been terrible.

But trek for me. Lower deck is enjoyable and strange new worlds is a very good watch
Series 1 of Picard was a masterpiece. It would have been the perfect place to leave the TNG story. Also would have been perfect way to sign off after the J J Abrams horror show.

Trek trumps Star Wars. There would be no Star Wars without Trek. And original Star Wars just ripped off existing sci fi anyway.

Er, Star Wars, obviously. You absolute weirdos saying Star Trek.

Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Obi Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca, R2D2, C3PO, Yoda, Darth Vader, the Emperor. Legendary characters.

The millenium falcon, X-wings, tie fighters, the Death Star(1 and 2...). Legendary ships.

Jedis. The dark side. that's some kind of cool arsed magic stuff.

No one EVER played with Star Trek toys. Did star trek toys even exist? If you were too old to play with the toys when the films came out then your opinion is INVALID(unless you still choose star wars).

What did Star Trek have? A pointy eared dullard and a captain who tried to get it on with every alien going, that's what.

Star Trek. Some of the characters in the Next Generation were superb. My autistic son loves it mainly because of Data and Guinan. He also likes Star Wars but got rather caught up in the "Disney have ruined it" line on the internet so now doesn't talk about, which is a shame.
Picard was good especially series 3 (although understandably cheesy). The JJ Abrams films are good, several of the original films are good - ST2, ST6 and TNG: First Contact. Brave New Worlds is decent too. Overall, more good Star Trek stuff than bad imo.

Exactly. Star wars was cool. Even at the age of 50 I sometimes open automatic doors via the force ( and there is no more satisfying feeling than timing it right). I've never pretended to be a pointy eared nerd or a Scotchman that shouts at engines. Also anyone voting Trek has clearly never tried watching Season 4 of Discovery. What a mess.

Star Trek. But I think it was a bit arrogant to place Earth as the capitol of the Federation. Intelligent beings and the humans are a bit better than the other aliens.

Prefer SW by some stretch, but find ST very enjoyable too

If someone enjoys a 'kids' movie, does it really matter what age they are?
No. I ensure the Cars movies for example. However I enjoy watching them with my son. Just find some of the super fan stuff with these films really weird 😂
