malkin just WINDMILLED in - zetterberg didnt have a CLUE what had hit him. good fighting scenes to end the game with

penguins have got a long way to go to turn this around - need a VERY big home performance

Except that they could be suspended for the next game for fighting in the final two minutes. But I expect the league will find some loophole somewhere to keep them on the ice.

Boys - This series was over before it started................Detroit have too much depth and they're winning without Pavel Datsyuk.................probably our best player.

Crosby and Malkin have just realised the rest of their team is complete shite.

I have a ticket for game five at the Joe Louis if it goes that far

So the NHL have decided not to suspend Malkin. What a surprise.

dale, you have to admit Detroit was a bit lucky last night. The Penguins will likely get their share of the bounces in at least one of their home games, so I'm sure you will get to use your Game 5 ticket.

Correct...................absolute toilet.............2 games.................. 3 of the goals were his fault. He's the Bruce Grobbelaar of goal tenders..........tries to make everything look spectacular, and fooks up the basics.

If you're that deluded ..................you must also be a Liverpool fan.

pens leading at home 3-2 with 2 minutes left.....if they can hold on (i think they will) then this will be a proper series again...if they manage to bottle it, series is over...

final whistle, Penguins win game 3 at the igloo by a score of 4-2 (empty netter) and are now only down 2-1 in the series...

Im a redwings fan, but think the pens have been a bit unlucky really. They were always going to win game 3. I've got a ticket for game 5 so if redwings can win the next one, hopefully i can see them lift the cup.

This will go to 6 though I think

Look at his performance over the whole season. Easily one of the best goaltenders in the NHL. I'm guessing you're classing the goal that hit the boards and went into the net as his fault?! He could do nothing about that. It's just unlucky when stuff like that happens. Enjoy rating a player on his performance in two games though.

Aside from that, it looks like, as John Motson would say: "We now have a cup final on our hands" :yahoo:

Fleury was amazing tonight and pushed the Pens through to a final and deciding game 7, which will take place on Friday...winner takes the Stanley Cup.

Penguins won 2-1 tonight, a brilliant performance on home ice but can they win in Detroit?

I am just about settling my nerves now after that. Exciting stuff but not good for my heart. Detroit the favourites due to the home advantage but you never know.

Would love to see Hossa's disappointed face if the Pens win it!

Way out west
There is a town called Brighton about an hour east of Toronto...did a bit of a double take as I drove past, for a minute I imagined that I was on the A27 instead of the 401!
