Standing up at football

The last away game I attended was Watford under Oscar. On arrival I sat in my numbered seat but 30 mins before kick off those in front of me stood up. When I mentioned not being able to see the answer I got was ' tough you should have got here earlier' and they werent in their allocated seats. That put me off going to away games.
