Many things to take away from that video. Jonny Crumplin football genius with John Barnes in his pocket, excellent support and SLOW version of GOSBTS sung correctly, the Kop clapping the Albion off. Marvelous

Wonderful memories, so hard to believe that it was 25 years ago. Can remember as clearly as if it were yesterday, John Byrne flinging himself headlong at that cross, and seeing the back of Grobelaar's goal bulge.

Pandemonium ensued, with players jumping in with the fans in a mass celebration. On of THE most amazing day outs.

It certainly was, plus that Rush 2nd goal was offside.

Small scored a great back header in the return that should have stood and won us the tie.

Marvellous scenes! Still rates as one of the best away days in my Albion supporting career!

I have always maintained that Rush's second goal was offside, but then again we were lucky to get the penalty with McCarthy tripping over his own feet!

Great replay the The Goldstone too.

I think it was the year that in the next round Liverpool and Everton played about 5 games before the tie was decided.

I'm sure the first one was 4-4. And the eventual loss to Everton saw the demise of Dalglish as manager iirc.

Everton beat Liverpool in a second replay, the first replay was the 4-4 game.

5th Round Liverpool 0–0 Everton 17/02/1991
Replay Everton 4–4 Liverpool 20/02/1991
Replay Everton 1–0 Liverpool 27/02/1991

Everton then lost 2-1 to West Ham in the Sixth round, who then went on to lose 4-0 to Forest in the Semi's before the imfamous Gazza injury in the Final where Spurs ran out 2-1 winners thanks to a Des Walker og (Lineker missed a penalty too!).
