There is currently an EDM going through the House of Commons calling on Richard Caborn to allow a proper debate on the issue. David Cameron said last week that if they come to power then they'll certainly review the current regulations;
If you feel strongly about this issue, I'd urge you to write to your MP and ask them to sign it:
