Very bad fan I know. Out of my 47 years to date, only 10 were spent living in Sussex. But whenever anyone asks me where I'm from in the UK, I always say Brighton, even though I haven't technically lived there since 1973...

My dad on the other hand has remained in Sussex throughout (Brighton, Rustington, Littlehampton, Goring), and is coming up for 44 years of unbroken residence and counting. However, he's an Arsenal fan...

Born and lived in Glasgow until i was 8 then moved to Brighton, quite liked it so stayed until i was 36! now back in Scotland. Will one day return to Brighton me thinks.
