I lived in the triangular shaped house (used to be an old drapers shop) just as you turn into Urquhart Road past the car park - moved away early in 2001.

Worked in Aberdeen and then Peterhead - it was while I was in the Loontoon that I met this girl called Pam from Mintlaw who was going out with an Albion fan from Sussex - she used to travel down to see him and would come back with tales of Withdean etc.

In those days I could only ever get to away games like Carlisle, Hartlepool, Darlington, York etc cos of the feckin distance!

Bloody small world!

Distance can be a bugger!!

Have managed Derby, Preston, Leeds and Burnley so far though! :clap2:

OK, since our own mailing list has been taken over by southerners discussing pubs for Smellhurst, can we agree a pub for the Wednesday match. The usual, or somewhere with decent beer ?

And is anyone driving to Stoke ?

Jem... I don't even know if I will be about for the Sheff Weds game... looking for a holiday. I'll have words with her indoors over the weekend and let you know if I'll be up here or darn sarf or somewhere else.

Sorry, Pam.

Anyway, hope Anne enjoys her dirty weekend in Stoke. You sure know how to show a girl a good time.
