On the mend, it was quite a traumatic evening, despite the enjoyable film.

I’ll just interrupt the moaning about catering and whatnot to say that the film itself is absolutely wonderful. Watched the 17:00 showing. I shall be buying it as soon as it’s available to purchase. Need to watch that with my daughter. All the years she’s heard me wittering on about the war years. Now she’s got the documentary.

Wonderful.. You don't realise how the travails and triumphs of this club have punctuated our lives. Not only a journey from Hereford to here, but also for me, from youth to marriage, to fatherhood, to the kids being adults.

Love to all who have been on the journey and particularly to those who didn't make the whole journey, both our own loved ones and our fellow supporters. I'm back home and raising a glass to those who I knew and loved and miss and to those who I knew only through their deeds; Roy and Ed and Sarah and countless others that lots of you knew personally. Also to Jacob and Matt and their families and to Dick and Tony and all who have served. This is a special, special football club that we are all richer to have had as part of our community. Long may it be run by people who know the score and care so much.

Raising a glass with you. The supporters that stuck by the club through The War Years kept the flame alive for the wonderful family we are now. I adored the little ripples of laughter at various moments in the film and the round of applause as the credits rolled gave me goosebumps.
