Never, ever believe Google translations ... particularly Latin ones.

It's an imperative so, standing on its own, it has to be State vel Cadete (in the original though it's 3rd person indicative singular so it's Stamus vel cademus.

But I don't see any reason to translate into Latin: I rather like the idea of Stand or Fall as a motto.

"People called Romans they go the house!" But I agree, if we want a motto I think "Stand or Fall' is quite good in a Rugby League sort of way. Regardless though it would be brilliant if we could get it back into the little stanza of GOSBTS that we sing.

Would like to see this developed further by the club. I think it would be a great thing to push into the new Albion era, with a nod to the past.
