The points allocation is nonsense this season. Some very bizarre decisions being made. Southampton away should be a 5 pointer every single time.

So far this season:

Man Utd
10
West Ham United
10
Forest Green Rovers (cup)
5
Fulham
5
Bournemouth
5
Liverpool
10
Brentford
5
Manchester City
10
Wolverhampton Wanderers
15
Arsenal (cup)
10
Southampton
10

Bournemouth 5, but Southampton 10. What?

15 for Wolves but only 10 for Liverpool and Man City?

They still seem to be building in a glamour club factor but we are all bored of going to these places. Should be very simple:

London and South Coast 5
Midlands 10
North of Midlands 15

Possible extra 5 for Midlands in mid week.

Not hard is it?

Bournemouth is 5 simply because of the small number of tickets available, and the fact that they will go to people with already very high STH points.

10 pts for Boxing Day with no public transport... seems fair enough.
Agree…….plenty with family commitments that won’t make it. Game followed by a spell in the doghouse for me :ROFLMAO:

As an aging guy who has now done the 8 hour coach trips up north, I think these numbers are pretty fair in that those now doing the long trips get the points. Surprised at Wolves as I'm going, plus 2999 others, thus adding a full 15 to my total. As it stands I'm 60 points up on the 254 for Saints and expect to attend 5 or 6 more away this season which should keep me in touch next season.

Greatest chant EVER was from the Saints away, 1:0 down and up on the screen came the notice "No trains between Southampton & Brighton".
"One nil and your walking home". One of those evenings when you had to laugh otherwise you'd by crying all the way home. Luckily we scored a goal

Shockingly packed trains to Stains I recall, our group then went to a Bar which had a power cut at midday, and as you say, trains cancelled for two hours after the game. But I want to know how Maupay scored that goal!

Should sell well with our recent successes and playing well.

Bin the cold turkey and flatulence from Auntie Jean, spend your 26th in Southampton.

From Mid Sussex, we went via Three Bridges. Seats there and back and no delays.

Are all blocks open? As one of the party only has a kids ST we have to wait until Friday

Usual 'sell the bad seats first' from the club. Unless they think that a 3pm Boxing Day fixture wont sell. I'm in but do feel for those who want to make it a family day out but have to wait till later to get seats for those without LP's only to find there are no more available.

Actually, better than last time as block 44 was open from the start today which caught me on the hop! I was thinking that with it being on boxing day this year we might well not sell out but the fact the club released 2,200 tickets straight away would seem to suggest they think otherwise. I agree that block 43 which is yet to be released is the best but i was in 44 last year and it was pretty good. On the whole i do think the ticketing releases have been better this year considering that in most cases if we do not sell our entire allocation in order to return some seats they have to be those in the middle of a stand next to home fans
