I don't think the majority of English fans want the Old Firm playing in England.
The only people who think it's a great idea are Celtic and Rangers fans who are bored with the likes of St Johnstone and want to prove they are as good as they think they are. And greedy Premiership/Division 1 chairmen, mostly the same ones who think that the Premiership should only consist of clubs with at least 30,000 seater stadia and £25 million in the bank.
A one off trip to Glasgow might be a laugh in European competition, but not so much fun on a Tuesday night in November, having to run the gauntlet of their chimp fans. Or for people living near English grounds, having to put up with 10,000 hairy arsed, ticketless Celts for whom mooning while wearing kilts is just a way of life, descending on their towns?
I doubt the clubs will vote for Celtic and Rangers to join once they realise it will mean either more games in a season or two clubs losing their place somewhere in the English pyramid.
It's not our fault that their league is crap, so why should we rescue them from the endless hamster wheel that is Scottish football?
