Anyone know anything about the restaurant? We're hoping to go next week and I need to know about booking it etc.

Went yesterday at 1 pm with three other STHs. Staff very professional, attentive but friendly. food was great (don't expect large portions!) and so was the Albion ale, we had to wait a long time but our order had been misplaced, think it was just teething troubles. £25 for 2 courses, £30 for 3, would probably normally need to allow an hour for a meal once they've sorted out their processes. Would recommend, not for every match as the pies are beckoning! See Brighton and Hove Albion | News | Latest News | Latest News | Book a Table at East Central for Spurs! for booking details

As Bozza said, I had a pre-match mean in the East Brasserie. If you exclude the cock-up that they made with the bill (dramatically UNDER-charging us!), it was excellent - good food, good wine, nice cold lager, excellent service (there were loads of waiters/waitresses), and the surroundings were very pleasant. It's a trifle pricey at £25 for two courses, but for a special occasion it is ideal. My wife (who has always been a rather reluctant spectator whenever I've managed to drag her along to watch the Albion) has now threatened to join me at The Amex on a regular basis, provided the visit includes a pre-match meal!
