One of the things that made me wonder was how 'safe' this concourse would be when rain gets blown in?

Also, when ever I had seen pictures of it before, it was always from the front or tv angles. It gave the impression that all that would be needed to do was to put the seats straight in on the top tier. That is clearly NOT the case.

I cannot understand all the beefing about it as I think that it is a stadium that is easily accessible, easy to enter and leave with little or no hold ups and the seats have plenty of legroom and are comfortable. The view from where I sat was very good. Should they ever get to rise up the divisions, which is ulikely, they can always add more seats up top but at the moment it is more than adequate for their needs.

I agree with every word

I'm sure Mr Bloom looked at the Stadium MK and thought "There's no frigging way OUR stadium will be left unfinished like this place".

Considering it was late Feb, quite mild for the time of year and relatively calm, weather wise, it was bloody freezing in there. Standing in the concourse area it was not particularly pleasant trying to eat my balti pie. The 'bar' was a little better because it wasn't suffering from the wind tunnel effect the rest of the stadium was. I'm not sure if they continued selling beer after the game but it isn't the kind of place that would entice people to hang around for a post-game pint.

Getting out of the car park was a bit of a nightmare-no stewards directing traffic until the last 50 feet before the little hill leading to the traffic lights. If The Amex is like that then I'm sure many will start using public transport.

Liked the seats-felt weird though because they are much higher than ours at Withdean but very comfortable.

Huge lakes of water in the car park and behind the away end, puddles everywhere on the terraces, and annoying metal studs on the floor every 3rd seat with annoying double steps like at Luton.

I quite liked the stadium when I first went, not anymore though.

I hope Falmer won’t have the stud things.

One of the stadiums saving graces was the seats – presumably these are the blue cube padded ones we get at Falmer.

It's one of the 19 grounds I haven't done out of the 92 (sad anorak!) but I never want to give my money to that franchise club for the way they f***ed over Wimbledon. If they'd started at the bottom and gained FL status through their own hard work it wouldn't be a problem but they'll never have my respect or a penny off me. :salute:

What a bunch of Moaning Minnies.

Hold on.. did we, by any chance, LOSE?

I went last season when we drew. It was my first visit there and I made my mind up then, that I'd never go again. It is depressing sitting in that black hole.

That was my 1st and last time there, looks shit from the outside half built, not much better inside, really needs the sides filling in, only positive i can think of at the moment is that the seats were comfortable. By the way i was the only guy there in my Pink Shirt

Never been & never want to go (unless in the unlikely event we have to win / draw there for promotion on last day of the season.....far off in the future & in another dimension).

Looking at those pics of the outside, it looks like a half-job done by Botchit & Scarper. Sums up MK Don'ts & the entire plastic town.
