I was also going to make the Milwall comparison.

The concourse looks rubbish as well, it's all metal bars and concrete. If you notice it's fully open beneath that outer membrane so it'll be bloody freezing in the winter.

Scratch the surface and look beyond the pretty lights and this is a fail I'm afraid.

I agree it would be cold but i also imagine their design brief was different to ours. Plus theirs cost about £63.5m.

very boring on the inside IMO, looks like any other bowl ground just with 2 tiers.

There was a previous thread on this stadium and some fans were saying they would rather have ours. Don't get me wrong I love our new home but this stadium is something else.

These Stadia are not in the same league as the Amex, for one important reason. The view looking out, from the concourse.

Good thread, I love a bit of stadium porn. That ones a BEAUTY.

I still prefer the Amex though. That one looks a bit more generic inside and has nothing to compare with our awesome triple-decker west stand. The only thing I prefer is the fact its got a couple of big stands behind the goals, but other than that, the inside is a bit meh (liking the concourse though).

Exactly, it's a Stadium MK with a Madjeski main stand and a Allianz Arena outside - it's just that they've put all 3 elements into one design.
