Probably good news then. That's a relief. Unless there's a 3rd person stabbed nobody has mentioned.

*have amended my original post which should have read 'if not', rather than 'if so'. Logic fail.
Jack was attacked. In a separate incident, two other fans were attacked, who were with Joey Thorpe, who is speaking here.

Balkham probably trying to find an angle to get them banned !
Another one point scoring. Darren Balkham has always been helpful and assisted Brighton fans. Keep your petty opinion to yourself.

Having your passport stolen is a total pain also.

Any advice for anyone, how they can get another one in Rome?

Actually I’m not. I know English football fans attacked in Europe. They just support other clubs.
I worked in Leeds for 20 years. One of my colleagues played 5 a side football with Chris Lofthouse who was killed in Turkey. I saw his grief, and he was an ex Royal Marine who had seen it all whilst serving.
That's why I am asking you to back off.

Hallo everybody.
I m an AS Roma fan. Really sorry for that. I have just read that it happened near via Cavour. That zone is dangerous also for us in the night…it is not a problem only concerning football…
According to italian police is not sure that there were italians…in that zone there are a lot of problems during the night…it is a dangerous zone if you don t know Rome. If you speak of other stabbings in the past near the bridge near the stadium or in some pubs you are true.

Glad to hear they're both about as ok as can be expected in the circumstances. Never understand this stuff, people just want to enjoy a game.

Got to admit, when I saw this thread this morning, I thought it was a poor attempt at humour and ignored it. I'm sorry for my mistake and hope @jackalbion and the other person are okay and able to still enjoy the match tonight.
I knew it was true as soon as I saw the poster was Jack… Just his drunk humour. Get well soon bro.

In this case it was a gang.

The Argus reporting that one fan is in critical condition , hope they have got that wrong

British consulate issue a temporary one in these cases then you sort it when you’re home.
The fee for an emergency passport is pricey too. My daughter had to fork out circa 120 euro in Paris eight years ago. Reasonable to assume the Government have hiked the price since.
