What’s he gonna doMaybe worth letting the club (Darren Balkham) know.
Ever seen the Equaliser? What’s he gonna do
"Six or perhaps seven people, with distorted faces, attacked them, wounding them in the legs with light stab wounds to rob them of their pouches containing documents and wallets."
The answer is to just ban them permanently from European competition.Every time a visiting supporter is stabbed Roma’s next home European game should be changed to away. This would work well in the knockout stages (i.e. if Roma get through to the next round then they’d face two away games). For the group stages it would cause an issue that the next visiting team’s fans who would have already booked travel. Perhaps Roma could pay the bill for refunds.

The club will claim it is criminals and not Roma fans. If it doesn't happen at the ground then it's difficult for UEFA.Every time a visiting supporter is stabbed Roma’s next home European game should be changed to away. Nice bit of whataboutery........ sheeshWell yes, but we have to admit that England was at the forefront of the cult of football related violence. As it has diminished in England it's been taken-up enthusiastically on the continent and sadly its innocent fans like Jack who are paying the price...
It's obviously football related. The club will claim it is criminals and not Roma fans. If it doesn't happen at the ground then it's difficult for UEFA.
This is not a 'European' problem as I keep reading in this thread, it is an ITALIAN problem. I've never heard of this happening in Germany, Holland or France for instance.
Get well soon Jack.
The concern is that a few of ours will be looking for Roma fans in Brighton next week now. Please don't, as UEFA would of course take a completely different view of this if it were the other way around.
How is it 'obviously'? Sadly tourists get pickpocketed and mugged all the time in Rome. It's just more obvious and more likely if a large crowd of football fans are in town. It's obviously football related.
The club and football authorities can't just wash their hands with this.
