Valentines is GREAT fun. I've got a window table booked at the local swanky Indian for me and Mrs Crodo, then we'll go back to our house and indulge in a spot of teabagging before I give Mrs Crodo a good pounding whilst watching PL Darts on the TV. All told I should be done by 10:30 allowing me to pop to the Ship for one before last orders.

Got a game of squash booked with Fat Mike.

This is great news, enjoy your date. Sex and squash with Fat Mike should mean you’ll just be calling him ‘Mike’ in no time.

Get kids fed, get kids to bed, tidy up, clean. If I'm quick about it the missus will get to go to bed early and I might have a brief window to knock one out.

I asked a girl out at lunchtime who I see working quite a lot. She turned me down because she works such long hours and said I wasn't in the right frame of mind at the moment - which she was spot-on about. With a little daughter she has to look after as well, maybe it's for the best. We'll always be really good friends who bounce off each other in good and bad times.

Can you actually really be friends with someone you fancy though?

What have you got planned- dinner out on an overpriced set menu? Tesco 3 courses for £10?
A night in alone? Is it all good fun or a massive scam?!

A massive scam. Waste of money. If you have to rely on a commercialised day to let your other half know you love them then you need to take a long hard look at yourself.
