Don't think so. They currently both have different Management. Were they both on stage together the other night ?

Was never a fan of theirs, didn't bother getting to the gig until 20 mins before Squeeze.

I think that was a line that first appeared on the sleeve of one of their first compilations, so blame A&M Records for that. Still, I don't think their music has aged one bit, still prickles my skin.

If I have this right, the OP has gone to a recent Squeeze gig where they play a number of new songs from their latest album "The Knowledge", 2 songs are slightly political in that they reference problems in the NHS and another one about difficulties of youngsters living in London where they grew up (or anywhere else). Simply stating those issues, which I think we can all agree are issues. Tilbrook doesn't acknowledge who is to blame either Left or Right - so not that Political.

The Lennon & McCartney label has hung around their necks. Not something they ever put upon themselves or agreed with. It was Rolling Stone magazine that coined it.
But two of UKs best ever songwriters, who consistently put out great stuff.
