Lots of negativity around the team. I've every confidence these fine young men of Sussex will do us proud

You went and did it? Didn't you, why did you have to go and say that...

Anyone want to predict COP score? My guess is Sussex 174 a.o, Lancashire 62-1

Not sure if Lancs will bowl 174 overs in a day? on current score I'd say 47 all out, Lancs 160-3 at close.

Sussex are doing their best to keep those WFH productive by making it unpleasant to watch

We just upped the run rate to almost one and a little bit an over.....flying now at 16-3 off 15!

40-4. Any team where batsmen 1,3,4 and 5 score 7 runs between them is going to struggle

I hope you are not mentally investing in our four-day team.
You know it will only lead to pain.
Probably best just to take a curious interest, for now !

It's more of a performance art project than a county cricket team these days. Once they've worked out how to score runs using interpretive dance they'll be ready.

I’m happy to see young players given a go but I draw the line at Thomason. He is a number nine bat, who doesn’t take wickets.
