New January 2023 loans: Connolly (2024/Hull City)
Speaking of Connolly, anyone know how's he's going?

Think he started well, but see he's not in the squad for Hull's match against Middlesbrough tonight.

He’s been out injured since mid Feb. Was reported he was back in training at end of March but at least a few weeks away from being match fit.

Can see Caicedo and Big Mac going, together with the return of Colwill to Chelsea, and a few fringe players being let go.

Incomings for 1st team squad of Adingra, Sima, Moder, Ayari and Alzate should add weight to the squad.

Expect RDZ will possibly bring in a striker and midfielder, but otherwise can't see us spending too much relying on the pipeline to keep producing.

Ayari made his PL debut in the game away to Bournemouth a few weeks ago when he replaced Caicedo with about 10 mins to go.

so he did. Ta. I was there but forgot !
10 players under 21 is pretty remarkable.
When you also consider Van Hecke and Lamptey are only 22 and Jack Hinshelwood has also made the bench at 18 we’ve got some incredibly talented youngsters coming through (and that’s before we even think about those out on loan too).
