They were definitely 2 dull games for neutrals tonight. The standard of football generally since the restart has (understandably) been pretty poor so far and was again in this game.

Moyes had a permanently haunted look about him tonight, they are really crap but do have a slightly easier run in than Villa and Bournemouth.

Spurs should be a lot better than they are with the players they have but have a manager who makes the team worse than the sum of it’s parts.

Good result. The (nearly) free stadium squatters closer to relegation. That'll leave PLB to do the Norwich role next season, with a couple of promoted teams hopefully to struggle too.

And Palarse, of course.............................

I read the BBC report on ours saying what a drab encounter it was and I literally hadn’t thought that at all but once I’d read that I thought yeh it was probably shite for the neutral! I just enjoyed our first half showing so much I loved watching it!

First 5/10 minutes were good

The only game I’ve really enjoyed and was end to end was Brighton v Arsenal - the rest have been meh

City excellent, but one sided

Spurs also have half the team coming back off injury and a very very average team outside Kane and Son

Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Alli, Alderweireld, Ndombele, Loris are definitely not average players.

Winks, Lamela, Moura and Sissoko are more than decent too. You’ve got a good team/squad, think you should be doing better than you are. Manager not up to it anymore.

Lo celso has been injured large chunks

Alli has bee hit and miss for a while

Toby can’t jump

Ndombele is overweight and puts in zero effort

Hugo loves a howler

Winks/Lamela/Moura/Sissoko are bang average

The manager hasn’t had much of a chance to do anything yet, still picking up the pieces of a mess of a squad he was left.

Wet Sham have a lot of decent players and didn't play that bad in my view. The difference between them and us, though, is that they don't like doing the 'ugly' stuff - shot blocking, closing down, getting yer foot in. They have a number of winnable games and may well have enough quality to get out of trouble. But if not, it wouldn't be the first time Hammers have gone down having been lauded as too good to do so.

West Ham were actually OK until the last 10 mins when the game had gone. After that the lack of running and tracking back was shocking. City would have walked in 7.

I've not seen that from Brighton all season, even in the very few games we've been out of in the last 10 mins, we've fought to the end. Our GD is now worth an extra point.

West Ham have the talent to get out of it, I'm not sure they have the fight.

Spurs look poor and short of confidence.

They are there for the taking at the moment.

Bad result for WHU in the circumastances
