Myself and most of the people I know don't want to go, at least 10 STH's I know aren't going. Would much rather the first game at the Amex meant something, not some pointless friendly. Seen enough Premiership football in my time when given the chance, and it's not worth spoiling my first game for.

I'm sure the time will come when I'm sitting in the Amex with empty seats around but as my first enduring memory I want a full house!

I've waited 14 years, 1 more week won't kill me

As far as I am aware the spurs game has a 17000 capacity I'm presuming that the away allocation is included in that,1500 at a guess.
So after 14 years without a home & 18000 season ticket holders for the new season how on earth is there 4000 tickets still up for grabs.

This is the opening of our new stadium the start of a new era.Why has this game not sold out?

£30 for a meaningless friendly? maybe some people are waiting for the league to start.

Exactly.
Know tonnes of real long term fans with no interest in watching Europa Cup opposition at rip-off prices.
Why did they only manage to get a club than wins a league cup every 10 years, for this special occasion? No known bond with the Albion.

its not sold out because general sale tickets have not gone on offer until today, I understand your frustrations that there may be, heaven forbid, non season ticket holders there but don't panic it will sell out

Missing point. Why did 18,000 S/T holders not sell out the 12,000, by a big margin? Over-hyped 'game' being avoided by many savvy supporters.

do you understand why now pottert?

To be honest no I don't.

After so long without a home, after so many protests, after so much legal wrangling & then we win our battle for a new home
surely everbody wants to see our first game at the Amex regardless of whether it's competitive or not.

It's like being a kid & seeing presents under the tree a week before Christmas I would be rude not to take a peak.

It wasn't £30 was it? thought it was cheaper than that. I will go for two reasons; I missed the familiarisation open evening thingy as I was working aways :-( And some mates from work (Spurs fans) are coming down to meet up for drinks before and after the game.
