Tottenham have virtually ditched a Full XI and a benchful of subs. I'm struggling to think of a bigger clearout at a top flight clubever. This summer:

Alnwick, Corluka, Danny Rose, Bassong, Ryan Nelsen, Modric, Kranckjar, Pienaar, Van der Vaart, Louis Saha, Giovanni Dos Santos. Jenas on his way, Dawson iffy and King retired.

I think a few spurs fans maybe getting a little worried. A few spurs fans i know are pulling thier hair out at what AVB is currently doing.

Happy Harry has left a financial mess at every club he has managed... that is some clear out of the wage bill... makes me wonder what the financial situation at Spurs was a couple of months back... and what it is now

Exactly this. He has left another club in a right mess, yet again. When will Teams realise this, so they don't appoint him in the future!

Moutinho looks to have signed. I think it's more a case of AVB being told "sell before you buy". Watch him go nuts this evening. Would not be at all surprised to see Berbatov go back

I hate Spurs, but id like to see AVB do well, hes cleared out what he doesn't want or need, Bentley still not gone anywhere? how long was that contract!!! and bringing in what he does. something he wasn't allowed to do at Chelsea.

He'll be back at WHU to ruin them when Big Sam loses a few games in a row.

Spurs have brought in Sigurdsson, Vertonghen, Dembele and Adebayor, with Joao Moutinho fee agreed so imminent. It looks like Hugo Lloris will join to replace Brad Friedel. I know Steven Caulker and Jake Livermore have effectively replaced Bassong and Jenas but that said their bench - which I think was the best in the Prem - now looks severely depleted.

Lloris and Moutinho are good signings and apparently Sky Bet have ceased taking bets after having Llorente on evens but I haven't seen that anywhere else but twitter
