So why do you think they are so intent on doing this? Do you think they sit around the table and vote on what to do next to annoy the fans? Or perhaps TB dictates that this must happen.

Let’s give the club a chance to respond to some well constructed questions at the Fans Forum.

And along with the policing and lack of organisation at the palace match along with a few other issues through out the season , sharing season tickets , club shop shut at Brentford game listen to barber bullshit about how great he is and correct

Not just the beginning. It was screamingly obvious people were waiting (to take pals, A+ members etc) so something over the weekend to state that the allocation was only 5700 and was close to sold out would have at least warned STHs waiting to get their own tickets sorted. They’ve made a right royal hash of ticketing this season on a number of levels. Hope they’ve ‘learned from it’ and are ‘taking the positives’

You might well be 100% right.

But without knowing the situation it’s difficult to know.

It could just as easily be that Spurs had agreed to hold on to those tickets and then changed their mind, we asked for them today expecting them to be available and been told they aren’t.

Without knowing the exact details it’s very difficult to actually be too judgemental.

Then why did they dangle the 9k carrot the day before tickets went on sale??! Really poor of club this time!

I agree the communication has been shocking but did the club dangle it?
I know I read that we would get 9000+ many times on NSC but didn't see anything official from the club.

Sharing season tickets has been done to death. You might not like it, it might not suit you but it’s illegal.

I managed to enjoy the Brentford match without shopping.

I’m sure Friday’s policing is being discussed and reviewed, without NSCs input

From Thursday's club announcement: "The club may purchase an allocation of up to 9,000 tickets for this fixture, which go on sale from 9am on Friday 14 January."

Moving on to the sold out announcement "....we requested additional tickets from Spurs but, as their home tickets are on sale, at this stage they are not able to relocate season-ticket holders. "

That was only 3 days after tickets went on sale, so clearly never any intention of taking up 9k, so why dangle that carrot leading many to think they could wait, leading to so many disappointed fans now?

And Spurs announcement from Thursday backs this up: "Season Ticket Holders who are registered on our Automatic Cup Scheme will be allocated their regular seat. Payment will be taken from the card details stored with us on the afternoon of Friday 14 January."

Can i just point out that west ham tickets went all the way to purchase history this season and while i think it is a poor stadium for watching football it is definitely in london !
Also Wozza that means they were on sale for a lot longer than a couple of days !

Yep, fair enough, but it's a very, very unappealing stadium and was midweek.

Oh well. Was waiting for purchase history so i could take the missus for the weekend. As far as I'm concerned it has saved me a few £££ and 5/6 hours of shopping.

I can understand why people are frustrated now.

I was holding off so I could take a mate and my youngest son and his mate were hoping to take two mates each. If the club had said there would only be 5700 then I would have got tickets on day one. The ticket page also had the top tier/blocks of the stadium on show, blacked out as they normally do, leading me to assume these would be released later.

Total cock up by the club but hey ho, it’ll be the pub that gets my money that night!

Oh well, just another nail in the coffin for my Albion support. This club is almost going out of its way to drive away fans with 40+ years support! Don’t remember them doing this 1997-2011…
Spurs away new stadium for most only 5700 tickets yet again barber doesn't understand our support is MASSIVE.how many more times is this situation going to happen ? No wonder more & more fans are getting pissed of & are questioning is all WORTH it

Maybe PB was not keen on 1000s tickets becoming available to Albion + members and guests of season ticket holders?

I will just use personal contacts in future to get tickets from afar, and not bother paying for Albion + membership as there seems to be no discernible benefit.

The extra £80k outlay would of been back in the bank by Friday..Sake!

Glass half empty- we would have sold at least 2000 more at a decent guess, so prob risking £25k, or a few days of a senior players' wages?

And the extra support driving us on, plus fans going who rarely get tickets to big games/grounds, potential season ticket holders of the future when I think I read waiting list currently non existent?

Yep a perplexing decision!

Tired of them underestimating our support. They did the same at Liverpool and Norwich.

We’ve sold out every away game this season apart from Burnley and Everton.

Find it strange the club wouldn’t take the full allocation (if that’s what they had to take) as it’s a new stadium for many, cheapish tickets and our away record has been pretty good this season. I can understand the reasons behind not taking the full allocation, but let’s be honest, the amount that might have been lost would be a drop in the ocean for them these days. Did the club worry about taking the 6,000+ allocation at Villa when we were at Withdean? You would assume they were counting the pennies even more back then.

If we were only ever going to take the smaller allocation, then why not use the loyalty points system? They didn’t, that alone told fans that there would be more than enough to go round, but there never was. Why even mention that there was 9,000 available when we were never going to take them? Was there a certain criteria that wasn’t met in a certain amount of time? The tickets were selling very fast.

With Paul Barber’s contacts at that club, you’d think they’d be willing to give us some extra time to gauge the demand, but no. So, did he even bother?

I probably wouldn’t have gone anyway, but I’m just astounded at the shitshow.

Maybe it is more Spur’s fault than Albion’s, but the communication has made this a very bad situation.

The season ticket sharing scheme and now this?! Bloody hell, they certainly know how to treat their customers.
