Bloody hell, i desperately needed this game moved to the Sunday as i'm having my 40th birthday party that night. On the basis that i can't be late for own party i'm going to miss the game and at least half a dozen guests will be turning up late as they will have gone.


My only consolation will be a potential double celebration should we actually win

Not possible. I anticipated this nightmare scenario but there were no decent venues for a reasonable price available on the Friday. Plus the fact you then have the problem of people taking it a bit easier on the booze in anticipation of abig day out on the Sat.

I'm still choked and freely admit that on Sunday i was praying for a home draw or away to 'nobody interesting united'

Last time I went to WHL got off train at Seven Sisters and went to pub near there then walked 15-20mins to ground, all the pubs seemed to have friendly atmosphere and both home and away fans.

Went to some of those before the England v Holland game and those pubs were complete dumps.
