Harry Kane. SImple as that really. Take him out of their side and they are ordinary. He wins them pens and freekicks all over the pitch, scores many chances others simply wouldn't take.
He is also very, very good.

It would amuse me greatly if he joins Arsenal next season.

By my reckoning anyone under 18 won't remember Spurs winning anything, and you'd have to be in your mid-20s to remember more than one League Cup win.

Mid-30s to remember an FA Cup win.

And you're probably 70 if you remember them winning the league.

It's incredible really that they have any entitlement at all.
Spurs are on their way to Wembley
(No, no they're not)
Tottenham, Tottenham, you'll never stop them
(Yes, yes we will).

Plumtastic.

They are 3rd, let that sink in, 3rd!!! Deluded twats. Honestly cannot stand these clubs. FWIW I think we will get a good result on Saturday. But, my confidence has bitten me a few times this season.
It reminds me a bit of when we just missed out on the playoffs under Wendy. We were balls 75% of the time, but scraped enough ugly wins to put us in a flattering position. Spurs play shit football and are entirely reliant on Kane. Son has been dreadful this season, Richarlison has flopped. Without Kane they’d be mid table at best.

They should be counting their blessings they scraped all those wins (thanks to Kane) earlier in the season, because I’d rather play them than a lot of teams lower in the league.

This.

Watching the footage back from the incident the other day, yes it's a red but Kane clutches the opposite side of his face and flops in the total opposite direction to where the force was applied, can't even get basic physics right.

Irrelevant of his achievements, he will always go down as one of the most unlikeable players of his generation.
He is a cheat, plain and simple. His ‘achievements’ are meaningless as they are tainted.

Agreed, he’s a spineless oaf.

However he is one of the best strikers England have ever produced, it’s a shame (for him) his loyalty to Spurs and propensity to go missing in big games has held him back.

I feel the people calling Spurs fans entitled are probably being a little harsh. It reminds me a little of when we got rid of Hughton and the outside world pointed out that staying in the Premier League was our aim, and he’d achieved that and got us to Wembley in the FA Cup.

In their last two games they’ve limped to a draw against a very shit Everton side and thrown away a two goal lead against bottom of the table Southampton. In 2023 they’ve got knocked out of the Champions League by a very average Milan side and thrown away a real chance at silverwear by playing the stiffs against Sheffield United in the FA Cup.

They pay the highest season ticket prices in the country if not the world for a stadium that feels more like a moderately busy Scandinavian airport than somewhere to watch a football match, but despite that their owners seem more concerned about attracting concerts, NFL Matches & Go-Karting than the actual football team.

They have a team of potentially exciting attacking talent being forced to play terroristball and hoping Kane blags a goal against the run or play despite them having a defence that still contains absolute shite like Dier, Davies, Sanchez and a 400 year old Lloris.

If I was paying over a grand a year to watch us play counter attacking defensive football week in week out with absolutely no interest in actually winning a cup then I’d probably be pretty fed up too. Especially if our biggest rivals had built such an exciting, young, talented team and looked likely to win the league this year.

The thing is, as good as he is, compare him to, say, George Best, who would go on a mazy run and receive three or four career threatening chopping tackles on the way, stay on his feet and score. I don’t remember the likes of Kit Napier or Alex Dawson rolling around on the ground holding their heads. Different times, different standards, I guess.

George Best was also playing against players who nowadays would in many cases be in League One rather than the top division.
Which isn't to say he wasn't great, just that changes in the game cut both ways.

I prefer Spurs to Arsenal. There seems to be a weird hatred of Spurs in football but I don’t see it myself. Saying that I’m indifferent about all the ‘big 6’ - I can’t stand the entitled social media posts and the thoughts of most of them - although it seems the most outspoken ones are blokes from Africa etc who don’t actually go. Chelsea are the one big 6 club I now really despise and I think that’s there for life. I’ve previously really disliked Southampton (Adkins reasons and that season) and also Leeds (Ben White saga) but they’ve faded over time. I think the Chelsea one may be here to stay though - even though we had the loudest last laugh ever…

Personally, I will reserve taking the p1ss out of Spuds until we have at least got a point off them on Saturday. It truly must be terrible being a Spuds fan... feeling ilke you are a big club but without the evidence (apart from a shiny airport terminal stadium) to back it up.

Read Paul Merson's pre-match review and he reckons Spuds will win because Brighton can't deal with pressure.
Where the hell did he get that idea from?
Clearly not watched us play.
We are the epitome of cool under pressure.
