It's called good PR, something this club has forgotten about since it has had a captive audience and doesn't actually cost very much believe it not

The website not being up-to-date is hardly a major concern in my book. Im more upset that we've lost our best player.

Has Hoddle consulted his astrologer?

Have Spurs offered him an topless model? (better than Caffyns)

What odds can we get for Kerry Mayo being top scorer next season?

At least we will have the benefit of suprise next season whereas in the last few seasons zamora has been marked out of the game now they won't know what to do.

Zamora will not cut it in the premiership he will flop, then drop back to a west brom or Nottingham Forest. It's good business for us, he's fallen out of love with the club and I got the feeling he was beginning to resent us.

Good luck to him.

Very true but in my book it indicates a lack of professionalism within the club in certain areas like the whole club PR machine, the marketing dept, the fitness tests before we buy players and the pre season fiasco last year which probably resulted in us losing our division one status and ultimately Bobby Zamora. Who knows?.

Regarding this website stuff MM has a very valid point, ive been on a lot of official team sites (prem to conf) in my time just to see whats happening at certain clubs when i'm bored and i've never come across a worse website than ours yet for news and upto date info, even bloody Barnets is run better than ours!

What I would like to know is how does the deal we've got now compare to the deal we could have got in May if we had accepted £1.5 million.

There is massive pressure on Spurs to bring in faces, and therefore DK could potentially have had Bobby and Spurs over a barrel. On the other hand, we need players desperately and cash from Bobby is the only way we can get them.

At the end of the day I think it would have been a lot better for both clubs if this business had been concluded 2 months ago.

I imagine the deal is along the lines of £1 - £1.25 cash now, £750,000 to £1 million based on appearances / goals / internationals.

Saddened by the news, as I was actually starting to believe he'd kick the new season off with us. But better now than Aug 8th, at least we have time to spend some cash.

Thanks for everything Bobby.

Best of luck to Bobby. We are not a one man team as we told Colchester a couple of seasons ago, best chant that season.
3-0 to a one man team,3-0 to a one man team.We are Brighton and Hove Albion football club not Bobby Zamora and Hove Albion.
We got over losing Binney,Mellor,Ward,Barker and Gray we will survive,we will be ok.At least we should have some money to strengthen the rest of the squad now.
The King has gone, long live the next one.

I do hope Hoddle isn't the "New Cloughie" who I never forgave for ruining Peter Ward.

At work - probably
The site used to be good - didn't it win a prize for the most hits a couple of years ago???

When I look at some of the other FLTV sites - like Reading's - they seem to have more rumours etc - like when they were signing Sidwell - they showed all his goals for teh Albion courtesy of Reading World (Seagulls World) and that was BEFORE he signed. The only bit about Rumours etc is under the Ferret talk - a lot more could be made of it - take a look at Liverpool's website - they are always showing profiles of players they are rumoured to be interetesed in - why can't ours do the same??? The LFC one is even showing their 100 top goals in the Premiership - bit difficult for us I know - but surely our site could be made more interesting.
