Look at it another way. Someone in the office, who works for the club we love, had forgotten to take the activation date off the system for those tickets to go on sale, and they've popped up without the necessary points being set. A mistake, a simple mistake, almost certainly made during an extremely busy time trying to get plans in place for potential SF tickets going on sale, as we that was a reasonably likely outcome once the draw had been made.

Yesterday morning must have been one of their most gut-wrenching mornings at work that they've had. Possibly fearing a disciplinary, or even the sack, and desperately hoping that #together means something, and no-one makes much of a fuss about it, allowing everyone to move on. Yes, there is still a massive workload in the office to put it right and repay the monies that have been taken and cancel pending transactions, but you can appologise and make it up to work colleagues, but if the fans are all up in arms that's a different matter.

So let's be better than that. let's not quote Sale of Goods Act at people, and just accept a mistake was made, it's being rectified, and none of us are out of pocket.

Of course, there’s also the point that, except for a handful of business to business transactions, SGA 1979 has been repealed. There’s that too.

I was quoting posters that suggested we would be the second PL game at new WHL, when it looks to me like Hudds will be the second PL game, and we would be the third.

We'll just have to content ourselves with being the first side to inflict defeat on them at their new home then. Oh well...

You're forgetting that some individuals are perfect and never make a mistake and, unfortunately, judge all others on that basis. Back in the real world, some of us are more forgiving.

An update.

I got a short one line response from the ticket office saying that from their end the refund had been fully processed, needless to say nothing on my account to support that so far.
