Yes, yes, yes and all the way up to Christmas plus Boxing Day Bubble and Squeak. My Basque daughter in law had bubble and squeak with us for the first time and feasted on it like a greedy queen being fed a banquet by her subjects. A peculiarly English delicacy. Fried up and noshed with brown sauce, a fried egg and any old meat you like although bacon or left over turkey works best.
I've never really got the hate for sprouts. From being a kid, I've never really been a fan of non-roasted vegetables in general, particularly green ones - broccoli, peas (mushy excepted), green beans etc. I eat plenty of them, but only because they're good for me; I certainly don't savour them.
But unlike the aforementioned greens, sprouts actually taste of something. I find them totally unoffensive and quite pleasant if I'm honest. So yeah, I'll be having 'em.
