Spotting NSCers on telly....

Very oddly, I've now spotted TWO NSCers on telly in the last three weeks.

Firstly, NSC quizmeister Gwylan, who'd mentioned before that he appeared in a show about the history of University Challenge - and there he was right at the end, looking very louche, smoking a cigar, I think and frankly looking exactly the same as he does now.

Then, with the sound down at the gym, I spotted our very own Tooting Gull in the background while some bloke from the Times was being interviewed about the snooker. The look on his face was obviously meant to suggest that he was working hard, but I'm sure it was another post on NSC punning about Jade Goody.

Sterling work, gents - the perfect faces for radio too. I've never been on telly, apart from once being interviewed by CNN talking about jet fuel, but I'm not sure they used it. :envious:

Anybody else ever graced the screen? I remember Rusco talking about people not being allowed to smile in passport photos.

I worked for my Dad when I was about 19, as a holiday job between my gap year and Uni. I was supposed to be sorting out files up in the attic, but crept out down the fire escape and headed into town. I nipped into the Brighton shop to get something or other, when a rather attractive lady asked me if I had ever been on TV before. She then asked me about Falmer to which I said…”A lot of clubs like Reading and others find it very easy to get a stadium, for Brighton it is a real problem.”
Sure enough I appeared on South Today that evening with a rather large clock in the background showing 3.30pm. I got my wages docked by my Father as he didn’t want to let me off scot free

I had a role in a BBC2 documentary when I was about 12.

I appeared on Newsroom South East as well to publicise said programme.

On a train...
I've been on telly a couple of times.

Fistly REMF related when we went over to New York to see Los Peladitos.

Then as my lovely sister said, giving flowers to Johnny P. I was interviewed by BBC South on the train to Victoria, and the day before outside a flower shop in Elm Grove.

Couldn't agree more. Fame of the 'he wasn't quite good enough to actually do the interview' type.

I appeared as a guest - after Norman Lamont - on ITV's financial programme Bulls & Bears.

Was a guest on a live primetime (Fri, 9pm) BBC2 version of Webwise - the most shambolic programme ever seen on the Beeb.

And was a regular 'expert' sofa pundit on Sky TV gadget show Road Test for a couple of years (21 shows).
