Who is Chris Hoy ?

Did he win minority sports personality of he year award ?

Who won the proper award though ?

Chris Hoy has been winning Olympic medals since 2000. He's now got four golds and a silver.

To say nothing of his eighteen World Championship medals, going back to 1999 (including nine golds) or his four Commonwealth Games medals since 2002.

A deserving winner.

He won the minority award in 2003 - BBC Scotland Sports Personality of the Year.

Just because you are ignorant, it doesn't mean Hoy shouldn't have won.

Fair comment about any of the top six being able to win in an average year, if you want proof of that look at Zara Phillips who won it a couple of years back, regardless of the fact that she is a brilliant horsewoman it can't be denied that equestrianism is a minority sport.

i was just listend to radio fife live on the radio, and they interviewd the girl Eleanor Rigsby with the funnie legs who won young sport personaility. Lewes hamilton REFUSED to give her his autogruph cos he was sulking for not winning or something to do with not paying tax and had to go home. He made her CRY, and that is not nice, especialy cos she has funny legs and stuff

COME ON LEWES be a good guy, especially to the spazzfolk, cos it's MEAN not to be, and remember, some of them have wheels too

I don't think it was. Who cares about a man who goes round the track with two wheels. When Lewis Hamilton puts his life on the line everytime at 200MPH! The amazing last lap at Brazil...

sitting in the safest car ever pushing his right foot down and wiggleing his fingers every so often. What will he do until March then other than count his millions
