Des Lynam hosts a spin-off series of the classic quiz. The usual rules apply as four contenders answer questions on a sports-based specialist subject and on sporting general knowledge.

The specialist subjects are Desert Orchid, Heavyweight Boxing Champions, The Superbowl and FA Cup Finals Since 1970. .

Oh well. Missed out on the Final by one point

The Superbowl was my 2nd choice specialist subject. I think they'd rather have a spread of sports, than two or three contestants on each show doing something football related. If I'd got to the Final, then I would have been doing my 1st choice, which was the Albion since 1970.

Enjoyed the experience, but was disappointed I didn't get to meet Des.
