This works with the following too. If you ask someone to repeat 4, 8, 12 over and over again for about 30 seconds then ask them to name a vegtable, 90% will say carrots.

Makes u look really cool if you draw a carrot while they are saying the numbers then produce the picture to them to their amazement.

maybe hammar is the most common tool. And red the most common(?)/popular colour. As you have to reply instantly and you are doing all those maths questions, you don't have time to think so your brain gives the most programmed response.

But don't quote me on that, i'm no psychologist.
