SPONSOR VICAR TO HAVE A NUMBER TWO!

Very soon now, Vicar will be off to Cambodia to start a six month stint as a volunteer marketing officer for an orphanage there, developing training and sponsorship opportunities. But before then we still need to raise more funds to cover his basic living costs out there. So on Saturday 05th September at Shae Shae (17.30), just around the corner from the Evening Star on Surrey Street, there will be a sponsored hair cutting. Vicar will be having those ruddy braids cut off :clap2: (“What was that ever about?” – Mrs Vicar) and the rest cut down to a no. 2, while other loyal supporters will be having their crowning glory shaved. Please sponsor us in this hair-raising venture (sorry, had to do it), and come along on the day to cheer the barber on.
Thank you very much,
Mrs Vicar

Excuse the Mrs she wanted her say. If anyone would like to make a pledge you can email me at jp@bha58.com. As stated in Saturdays programme there is a full website with details, links, blog and a mission statement explaining the full details of the campaign. It may be found at John Palfrey's Test Site.

For some reason, the link hasn't appeared. Try:-

And good luck, Vicar! The young Miss Bracknell spent a few months in Cambodia, working with homeless kids on a rubbish tip. It's challenging, but very rewarding work.

A tenner is on its way to you, sir -will you be sneaking across the border while you're out there to watch Sussex win the champions league?

I don't want to sound like Geldof - although I'm not a big fan of Mondays myself - but give the Vicar your friggin money...good cause and without people like him this forum would not exist as there would be no Brighton & Hove Albion to moan about!
