That is fab, did you ever get one, I imagine the warren would have been a good stake out.

I love the rural school kudos, how big is your cheese, saw Daniel Kitson last week and he had just been up your way for the cheese rolling kamikazi event. If you got the Storrington cheese you could go along and try and be the first to get an historic double.

Nope, sadly not...but one of my classmates at Rydon did...guess it was when we were about 11 years old. You are probably right about the Warren...fairly near to Sussexdown as the crow flies (or Harvard or whatever else they were dropping them from at the time).

Haven't made it to see the cheese rolling yet, will try and make a point of having some time free when it happens next year...one of my friends lives within a couple of streets of the hill and described seeing a bloke literally flying down, taking a bad fall and just lying limp on the ground...he might have been the one shown on the news leaving on a body board!

Amazed to see so many people from around Storrington on here, perhaps there should be an NSC West Sussex "meet up" for beer and a Riser Burger

Mid Sussex
Was at RAF Coningsby earlier this week (home of the battle of Britain Flight), and spent a pleasant 15 minutes watching a spitfire and Hurricane going through their paces. It was unfortunately spoilt by a couple of Eurofighters playing silly buggers, which are when compared to a Spitfire or Hurricane a pile of cack.

I know which one I would want to be in in a dogfight ;)
