For a moment I thought perhaps Vincent Tan had bought a controlling interest in "the bestfansintheworldFC"

It is not true , purely a publicity stunt.

From Portsmouth FC "when we heard the strength of feeling in the city we talked to Emirates and they agreed to keep it white."

.......And they have the financial clout to influence Emirates as well.

Slightly OT but yesterday I was in Tesco in Durrington and saw about 8 people wearing Gobshite shirts. Is their fan base spreading or was it a benefit day outing from Leigh Park?

The Mirror story has a photo of a football match between Portsmouth and Southampton. How on earth is that possible?

How are their respective fates possible since they last played each other, or you genuinely asking when they last played together? 2011/12 season?

Littlehampton is the traditional end of the Albion's fanbase.
Bognor then begins the march to unbridled glory.

It's all to do with the south coast trains terminating and postcodes.

Hence my question are they spreading their wings into Worthing Goring Durrington etc.
I doubt it.
Obviously there was a time

Hang on, I've just realised Gobshite doesn't specify Portsmouth or Southampton.

Southampton has never come into the reckoning until, unsurprisingly, now.
And yes a few of their shirts are cropping up in the better half of Sussex.

The dividing line as said has traditionally been Littlehampton/Albion, Bognor/Portsmouth.

Fortunately the Albion's presence, here close to the border, is currently massive and far outweighs any other team.
Probably for the first time ever.

Nah. The border is most definitely LA to the west and goes far to the east with the line between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells before it peters out I reckon. LA is a Brighton town.
