This is a beauty, taken in our back garden a while back.

If you get a spider ,put it in a glass and put something thin over the top and take a little way from your house and let it go.Don't kill it.

In my computer
Spiders that come inside my house get deaded. Spiders live outside and I live inside.

The sound of one walking across my pillow when I was younger simply did me in. Wolf Spiders usually where I grew up came inside as did Huntsmen....evil things...

Next door neighbours had to have their cat put down once - it came into their house with a bloody great big Mouse Spider in its jaws which had obviously bitten it. Poor thing didn't have a chance and basically expired on the back door mat. Spider and cat went into a box and off to the vets. Neighbour came back without a cat and the slightly chewed remains of the spider in a specimen jar.

I love them. In the UK they're harmless wonderful things. Happily clearing up the flies and stuff humans don't like.
I have loads of them in my house, and they're welcome.

Shit scared of them myself but never kill them, i use a pint glass and beer matt to catch and releasee them into the garden.

Not scared of them but don't particularly enjoy picking the things up to lob out the window.

I held a Mexican Red Knee Taratula once at a place in somerset, very gentle thing it was, they didn't get the Goliath bird eating spider out because she was a bit grumpy, which was nice.

Presumably this wasn't in Shoreham!

Pretty sure I read that if you take them to within 25 metres of where you found them they'll come straight back?

Sweet jesus thats not even big!

Were you aware that on average a human will eat 8 spiders in their sleep during their lifetime ?

I was aware of this and I am pretty sure if that bastard crawled in there I would've died from being choked to death.

Just imagine waking up naturally to one half in half out your mouth. I would shit myself

Happy to come and get rid of any spiders you boys can't deal with.

However you can return the favour if I ever get a snake in my house.

Brave girl. If it helps, I saw a snake in Haywards Heath 2 weeks ago. NOW THAT IS WEIRD. Looked it up, and I believe it was a grass snake.

There was a huge one in my sink in the kitchen last night. I normally vacuum them but being in the sink meant I couldn't - so I ran the hot tap for 20 minutes until I thought it had died. Haven't had the courage to look back in the sink yet. It was so big you could see that it had feet! Horrible and still makes me feel all shaky :(

Yep, had three of these big black bastards in the last week. Bloody quick they are, I proper shit myself when they run at me. Luckily for them I hold some buddhist beliefs so they geterally get to live, but they do get chucked out the nearest window.

3 big ones last night - first sign autumn isn't far away as they all try to pile indoors when it gets a bit chilly
