I wouldn't advise it. Customs is on the English side of the bridge....

From the West Ham site regarding all trains to Cardiff:

"Alcohol Free

On the advice of the British Transport Police, all First Great Western services to and from Cardiff will be dry, with no alcohol allowed on board."

Will it be the same for us? ???

Alcohol is banned by Railway Byelaw being invoked which the British Transport Police will do - definitely no alcohol.

Fatboy you will get no discount with you Y/P card onna chartered train.

so how come one can procure cans etc on ordinary trains or have they stopped the chimp 'n'n a trolley service . . . .this country's gone to the rocks I tell yaz!

I shall be driving, parking in the hotel car park, checking in, hitting the residents lounge for lunch and liquid refreshment, then strolling to the ground for the game
