My boss says 'evidently' when he means 'apparently'. Thankfully that is as bad as it gets on our office. We usually just moan about the client.

I am guilty of one or two of the annoying phrases. 'Ball-park figure', 'much of a muchness' (although I've stopped that now), and I agree about 'with all due respect'. I say that on here when I really mean 'you gobshite'.

Oh, and by the way, 'the client is always right' as we all know really means 'the client is a thick twat who wouldn't appreciate quality if it gangbanged him'.

too bloody right that is . . . .usually made worse by our boss bening over forwards to accomodate their every whim, at our expense, what ever because hes too bloody limp and scared to stand his ground and or have to answer to his superiors . . . .the sooner he's found out the better for me, and the comnpany as a whole!

'it's not downsizing - it's rightsizing.'

great to hear that when being told of my impending redundancy 2 weeks ago.

in terms of great business terms - 'cock' sprang to mind as it summed the person up perfectly.

* Let's just park that idea!!* My boss, as if to say let's leave that for now!!!!

Our Marketing people are always 'parking' things, usually accompanied by an appropriate gesture, with the hand that isn't holding a latte.

They also spend a lot of time 'thinking outside the box' or engaging in'blue sky thinking' usually about ways to 'leverage' our 'USP (unique service proposition)'. or 'mine' our resources

Ideally we should all be looking for 'quick wins' or as they put it identifying ways to 'pick the low hanging fruit'

My God Cheshunt, it's almost like we work for the same company!

That's when we can find the Marketing people, who are typically out to lunch with clients as soon as anyone actually needs them.

Usually, if I am lucky, they may have a 'window' to see me in 3 weeks time, and then will probably cancel at the last minute
because someone needs to be lunched at short notice.

However, if any project I am working on is nearing completion, the donkey work all done, they all descend like flies to bathe in the reflected glory.

Where would we be without them?

```ABSOLUTELY``` when a simple yes would suffice.
``I`m going to run with this``......................well f***ing run with it then ...away from me hopefully.
