So in reality it's MM landing a job and then expecting to go in there and do as she pleases while telling the employers how to run their own business.

If regular people do that in their workplaces they tend not to endear themselves to the boss and cause enough trouble and they lose their job.

Five live said this morning the queue at Waterstones was 'more than two hundred' in length when the doors opened on the stroke of midnight.

Well having looked back at my posts on here, having accepted the word gloating was wrong, over and over again (I never said celebrated, so not sure when the pile on crew urged you to use that word), I can only assume you disagree with my comment about cockroaches having no nose.

Lol. No, I'm not a Harry superfan, I haven't watch the Netflix series or seen any of the interviews. However, I do have sympathy for him in that I see him as more of the victim than any of the others. He might have a privileged background but he's had a pretty shit life. His mother died in an horrific crash, played out in all the media and he was required to walk behind her coffin and 'keep a stiff upper lip'. He may or may not have been aware that for most of his childhood, his dad was cheating on his mum (and there are of course rumours that she subsequently did the same but who could blame her) and then he had to accept that the woman that was the third party in the marriage was moving in. It's not too far of a stretch of the imagination that he would blame Camilla (and possibly his dad as well) for his mum not being around.

And then of course, there's the great British press. If we take one example, the story of the 25 kills, the press have painted a picture of him boasting/gloating etc etc and some have lapped it up. Now I haven't read the book but I posted a clip of James O'Brien reading a large segment relevant to the 25 kills referred to. It puts it in context and is completely the opposite of the way some papers have portrayed. I suggested LennyTee listen and he might have a different opinion but he seems not to be interested.

And as for LennyTee. He has basically regurgitated crap from elements of the media. Retracting one word (gloating), denying he used another (celebrate) and then when I pointed this out then comes up with the absurd comment that the words are interchangable due to the slash. Not entirely sure what he's driving at. Is he saying that because he retracted one word then the others are also retracted. Doubt it as that doesn't make sense. Of the three, only one was accurate, ie that he published the info about the 25. He could quite simply have said he didn't mean to use the word celebrate but couldn't bring himself to do that. His view is entrenched and he's not prepared to listen to any evidence to the contrary.

As for the royals, I think they are all probably damaged by the system they are in. Charles was brought up and groomed to be King and had to wait longer than any other heir to the throne, even suggestions that he was sort of plotting to get her to abdicate. He was raised in the 20th century by an institution stuck in the 19th. I doubt nobody will know the truth but had he married Camilla when he first had the opportunity then all this mess might have been avoided but there are various stories of other members of his family plotting to arrange marriages for him. He went to sea with the Navy and Camilla married her previous beau, Parker Bowles.

I'm sure some will comment that loads of families have 'issues' and I won't dispute that but they are not played out in public and public opinion isn't steered by whatever agenda the press have decided upon.

So, no, I'm not a Harry superfan and who knows, sometime in the future stuff will come out changing my view.

Don't know if its 'fake news' or just good old fashioned bullshit, the reporter for GMB at W.H.Smith's in Windsor said Harry had received a £20million advance from the publishers despite a lot of retailers selling at £14 a 50% discount on the RRP.

Even for all the publicity, you've got to shift a lot of books to get that back and still come out on top?

Finally, I don't know the economics but say the publisher gets £7 a book then that's only 2.6m copies needed to be sold and that's not just in the Uk don't forget.

Waterstones are saying that this is the biggest pre-ordered book for over a decade. As for the discounting going on, the smaller bookshops (those that are left that is) will be getting 35 to 45% from the publisher, so the supermarkets and Waterstones etc will be getting more than that, so a 50% discount will at the very least be selling them at cost, but more likely a 5 to 10% profit I would guess. Hive.co.uk are selling it at just over £20 (28% discount), they support the independent shops so again that will be at a small profit.
