Barbados is now officially the bestest place I have ever been to on this planet.
From the original cruise thread.
I'm sure that would be great.
As said Madeira is a great island.

But given the choice of that cruise or the time and money in Barbados.
Then Barbados wins hands down.

It's the greatest friendliest place on the planet, and I'll fight anyone that says any different

It's nice to be right, once a month, I'm glad I got this one in nice and early.

Slightly off piste now, but the above comments are very reassuring as off to Barbados for the first time next weekend !

T'is the mutts.

I've got 101 stories the theme running through all of them is people being extra helpful.

Oystens fish fry is a must.
As is The ... Caves (sorry name escapes me)

If you get feed up with beautiful beaches, lovely food and Banks beer.
Hire a Mini Moke and head off to the 'other coast'.
You're taken from tropical paradise to Cornwall-esques paradise, for a day.
Simple stunning.

We were lost heading to Harrison's Caves (maybe)

So sat at a junction with map out, pointing.
Fella pulls up along side, asks where we heading.
So we tell him, he says :-
'No problem follow me'.

10 -15 minutes later we arrive, he points us to the car park, waves, does a u turn and heads off back from where he came.
