Looking on one of the French sites, Ribas hasn't player yet because he's been injured all season, and the problem was apparently made worse by an injection that was supposed to speed up his recovery. He's not happy there it seems, so you never know...

Are we signing him so that Vicente has got someone on the treatment table next to him to talk to? Please lets not sign a player who is going to spend all his f***ing time injured.

Hasn't he got nice eyes
Would he sign....who would've thought Bobby Smith would sign 6 months after playing for England....yes I know the reason why he signed but it was a massive coup from there to the 4th Division,Alex Dawson was another....ah! the days when we signed a massive centre forward.

Don't forget Fabregas, iniesta, xavi, pique, alba, arbeloa, xavi alonso and a few of those other absolutely SHITE players that have only won the last TWO euros AND the (tinpot) World Cup

Wow is that the last of the money in Spain....2 Euro's.....pretty cheap at that price....sign him up Gus.....I'll even pay the 2 Euro's

Ulloa would be a good signing on the face of it

What's the betting that we will spend all of the transfer window pursuing him only to decide at the eleventh hour that the administrative issues are too much of a problem? And by then, of course, CMS will have been moved on leaving us with even fewer strikers.

It's your positivity that keeps me fighting another day.

Update from the Spanish website:

Leo Ulloa is closer to stop being player of the UD Almería. As already Sportalmería report, which was second top scorer last season can you pack for England in a matter of days. Ulloa is not happy and he's seen as Charles has taken the place in the eleven. Leo has scored only four goals so far and is not having the role you would like.

The Second Division Brighton English (computer playing exrojiblanco Bruno Saltor) has returned to knock on doors of Ulloa and Almería. The British set following the trail takes you a year ago and has now been placed to take the Cyclone . The agreement seems total and only nationality (Ulloa lacks the community and that it is difficult to give in brief) could be an obstacle to its progress.

Although only six months ago as both the entity Almeria Ulloa would do a deal for the tip rojiblanco dress like one more season, the situation has changed. Alfonso Garcia did not look bad to pocket the amount (50 percent of the transfer, which handles around three kilos) and Ulloa the opportunity to make a name in the land of Shakespeare in a new experience in European football.

Although Brighton go in the middle of the table, are three points of the promotion for promotion and their parties cite some 25,000 spectators in the stadium, another appetizing candy. Besides Bruno, in their ranks the Spanish find Lopez, Orlandi, and Vicente Calderon, exzaragozista addition Poyet, who serves as technical director. The language issue is no problem.

The Argentine striker is in Almeria lands, though lies the question of whether he will train tomorrow at Javi Gracia orders or not. The UD pit again Sunday morning, but Ulloa could not exercising to prevent possible injury that breaks the operation.

Can you find a version in English?

It looks to me like we are after some Argie, who has lost his place in a second division Spanish team, after only getting four goals this season? It that it?

Just asked Naylor on twitter about the passport/permit stuff. He says, Ulloa qualifies for a Spanish passport but just doesn't have one yet. I presume once he has this passport (which seems more a formality now rather than a problem) the work permit should be issued!
